CIL coal is far more competitive than Indonesian coal-I: How is it calculated?

8The pithead price of CIL coal of G12 grade was compared with FOB price of Indonesian coal of 3400 Kcal/kg.
8In other words, CIL coal is among the cheapest in the world.
8And this does not include ocean freight, port handling charges, CVD, clean environment cess, excise duty and CST/VAT
8The pithead CIL price was found to cheaper than FOB price. In fact the average  cost of production for CIL is USD 16 per tonne @ Rs.68 per USD. This includes high cost underground coal comprising 6% of production.
