States governments have rejected a suggestion that there should be no change in the Merit Order Dispatch system of power plants which have invested money in putting together new and expensive pollution control system 8A series of incentives are being sought to be provided to power plants investing in FDG units but none of have actually been notified yet 8One suggestion was that even if the tairff is higher, the MOD scheduling should not be disturbed, was not found feasible by state distribution utilities 8No one wants to take on the burden of the investments which will have to be made to install FDGs 8Who will eventually bell the cat remains a million dollar question Click on Reports for more
